Watch List-- January 1, 2015

NOAH
This has the potential to be a whale especially as the Chinese markets sky rocket. I've bought the 10MA pull back but would look to add if it it takes out the weekly high.

RESN:
Developmental Tech co.
collaborating with Skyworks on RF Modules

Resonant believes it can replace a $0.62 BAW duplexer
with a $0.28 SAW duplexer.   If successful, this would truly be a game changer.  It appears that RESN is very close as they have already passed their 3rd milestone, which was supposed to be the most difficulty.

I like the fact that the  CEO put in his own money in and are working for free until funding is secured:

"The founders contributed $200,000 and agreed to work full-time without pay until we secured adequate funding.  STI contributed a patent portfolio, software, equipment, temporary office space and an early version of our first development agreement."  (10-Q, 11/12/14)

That's confidence. The street is starting to take notice and volume is picking up.

Stocks with Volume surges off Bottoms

BCLI:
massive volume surge

Volume picking up, some RSI power here

Neon

Weekly Consolidation in Uptrend:
A volume surge in June.  I like how tight this range has gotten.  Can be bought with a 4.00 stop.

ERB, looks to be breaking out of consolidation, volume has not come in yet.
Medical diagnostic company
Float 7.91M
Potential catalyst -- going into Brazil  new markets = new opportunities.

FBIZ:
Breaking out of a 10-month wedge on weekly charts
Float: 3.69M
Wisconsin Banking co. recent acquisition gives Access to Kansas City.
Not exciting but that wedge is beautiful

MOMO
A recent IPO that picked the wrong moment to go public.  A higher low.
Float: 8million
Momo already grew its user base 160% from a year ago.
THEME- Social networks in China, Chinese Tinder
backed by BABA (owns 20%) and WUBA owns a stake.

And a ticker symbol guaranteed to get the Momo players looking at it.
That can be the recipe for a power move.
Entry: 12.19

Watch List 12/29

Nice Wedge, but which way out?
RESN: (Weekly),  Has a nice 5 week tight consolidation on the weekly chart. Volume has started to pick up.  If it gets going out of this box it could really go as it has a small float.

PLNR-- Finally got the b/o above the Box.  Last push was inter day, and failed if continuation this could go.

Nice tight consolidation, Look for a range expansion move.

In consolidation, look for the R.E. than hop aboard

Going Nuclear

Uranium have made a big on Friday. Uranium prices have surged:

The stocks are looking to go Nuclear

Adding URRE, URA, CCJ, URG, UEC, URZ, UUUU,  NLR, NUCL, DNN to my  watch list.

URRE has the smallest float so perhaps the biggest bang for the buck.

Oct 27 EP scan

Here are the stocks that came up in the EP scan.

ALXA,  Alexza have agreed that Ferrer will purchase 2 million shares of Alexza common stock for $4.00 per share, thereby becoming the Company's largest shareholder.   (potential to trade up to 4? or is there a warrant conversion, multiple classes of stocks?)

CEMI,  News : Chembio will combine its patented DPP technology with IBT's proprietary Ebola reagents to develop POC diagnostic tests for Ebola and febrile illness

CMG, Relief rally -- not an EP or even an LT tradable move.

GHC, no news no volume
LAYN- resolved lawsuit for $5 mill
NVAX- ebola drug
NVR - continuation from earnings
VPCO, "Analyst Report by Small Cap Traders"  has a pump and dump feel to it, but could fishhook for a Lottery ticket type trade it pushes range.  Was once an $8.00 stock so who knows

Sunday, October 19, 2014

October 18.

Here's the LT's and EP type stocks.  I don't see much in the realm of momentum bursts and breakout still are failing so It's mean reversion and lottery tickets.

ESI,  This should be  very much in play this week, wait for gap test to develop, if holds look for a FH entry.

IBIO: IBIO presented an amazing FH entry at $2.50.  This one has some power behind it as volume came in heavy at the end of the day.  IF a premarket entry presents itself I'm taking it.
FN: any earnings play from neglect.  Vol was not that impressive. I'll see how it sets up, as it could be worth a play either way.  That gap looks inviting to fill.  But If it holds and the market remains strong could spring.

July 14. Long Scans

Over 165.

EOG --   $116.50  But would like to see  MACD turn up.

EMES:  I'm already in at 105.18.  but 110 is the B/O trigger. If that fails I bail.

PCP 260.50  has been very range bound.  But is more than capable of 10% moves over a few weeks. Recent consolidation has been tighter than normal.  Energy building up? We'll see.

ATK   50.  SMA-- would like to see entire day above as trigger. This looks to be gearing up for a golden cross as the range gets tighter.

Any follow through and this has a clear path to 12.   If traded I would take a big position and look to unload 1/2 just in the 11.90 range.   The remainder can test the ATHs.
Finally, CDXS  for fun--- if i can get in at a good price this could get interesting. It traded up to 2.60 +84% (but only on 530 shares) on news that it signed a deal with GSK.  They expect to realize 11 Mill in 2014 which is 1/4 of their entire market cap.  A  conference call has been scheduled for tomorrow which could provide some fuel for a big move if analyst upgrade as a result.
